I just love to see these kind of debates on here. As a "paying customer" and all-around average club racer let me tell you that I will only run what works best for me...you couldn't pay me to run junk whether it's a chassis, engine, clutch, tire, etc. Also like most racers I'm always on the look-out for something better, or what I might "perceive" as better until i actually test it for myself. I also like doing business with companies and people that I respect and trust, which is why I'm running Clocked Werks engines from Neal. He's taken a great engine and made it even better, and I've tried many different mills before coming to this conclusion. Guys, at the end of the day it's really all about trial and error and ultimately personal preference. The nice thing about this sport is that the choices are endless...choose what you like and like what you choose.:nod:

That's a matter of opinion. You know mine.;) And there's no question that I know yours.
All that I was pointing out in my post above is that in actual on track performance not BS crap talking by people who may or may not even know how to tune an engine properly, in the hands of a couple of the best drivers in the world, on the same track at the same time our B6 engine with a ceramic rear bearing had more power overall and was faster overall than the new Speed II engine, that is it. As Kortz said to the driver with the Speed II (a previous world champion) in the pits after running him down on the straight "You just got smoked by a 229 dollar motor....Beessshhh!". The guy cracks me up lol! |

At least OS finally figured out they better copy the bore and stroke of some of the Italian mills in order to keep up. Maybe next they will put bearings in the engines that last more than 5 gallons. And some day they will use more than a pubic hairs worth of chrome on the sleeve and it will be able to last thru an accidental lean run. |

If you really want to know mine opinion it is that there is no best brand of engines. This is way too much of a blanket statement to make. What I think is that at over the last couple of years the OS VSPEC set the bar for performance and ease of use by which all other .21 competition engines should be judged. That is what I honestly think. Does this mean that I think that OS is the best overall? Absolutely not. I just think that the VSPEC is an engine that did everything well. Does this mean that the new VZR or whatever the new replacement for the VSPEC is called is the best engine on the planet? Unless some one is drinking the coolaid I would have to say that it is a little premature to say that don't you think?

Last through an accidental lean run? Why not just tune it right in the first place?;) And yep the new OS's use a novarossi bore/stroke. They also use nitro fuel and air and a glow plug, does that make them copy cats?
Ohh right because you are perfect and have never ran your engine lean. Get a clue dork!!!! If you wana talk copy how about their new cooling head covering the crankcase??? RB's been doing that for years. And actually since your such as os sac swinger you should know it's not identical to the Nova, but it is identical to the old GRP/New TecnoPower. This thread was started because someone wanted an opinion on two engines and neither one of them were OS engines. You have a bad habit of dropping your bull$hit on people where your opinion is not needed. |

It might have been a joke but this is not the first time you have found a non OS related thread and dropped this kind of nonsense. If they want an OS they will come find you in an OS thread so they can be enlightened by Mr Perfect. |
