I was running O'donnell 99T's in my Losi 454 with the turbo head conversion. The motor had tons of power and decent run times.

what exactly does a turbo head actually do for an engine?

I just installed one on my 454 engine with an re11 pipe. It made a huge difference. That is one must have product for the 454. It did not seem harder to tune to me, but everyone is different. You will love it!

for me, gave my 350 a snappy'er throttle. i put a JP3 pipe on mine in my truck and it rips pretty good. i have good run time as well. im sure not the power like the big $300 dollar engines, but for me its just as good.

losi 350, turbo head decent pipe.. OS P3 plugs. 30% nitro.. not a bad setup.

oh and my tune didn't change. some people might have a harder time dailing it in, but dont let it discourage you, i think mine was 2 hours lean on the HSN. thats IT!

I can honestly say i wouldn't run a .21 engine without a turbo button head. Theres just no reason to not run one in this day and age.
