losi 350, what is ur best fuel mileage?

i just broke in a 350 motor and did the turbo plug conversion, after a 6 min. heat i have about 1/3rd of a tank left over coming off between 220-230 with good power, and still seems a little on the rich side if that helps you out but im running a different pipe, i dont think its a better pipe, just what i have to run.

A friend of mine just started running his last weekend. Has about 1/2 gallon and his first race day getting about 10 minutes with Turbo conversion. Runs very good and smooth. Plenty of power. He ran it first in practice without the turbo conversion and it didn't have much power.

Thanks for the info guys, looks like I got a little more work on mine. Stock motor with Rte pipe with turbo plug on it with .4mm of shims on the head button. I got 6.30 Minutes of run time to a tank. I ran a 25 min main with mine and the temps was 240. But I had a tire come off the rim an rub the dirt guard. I think that I will take a small shim out of the head.

I had swapped out the truggy motor for a 350 (.21) and I fitted a 053 pipe and now get 11.30 mins on a short track.
I think I’ll get 12 mins with a bit better tuning. This is running the stock motor not turbo.
At first I didn’t believe that run time using DX3 timer so I checked it up against the mobile phone time and it was correct 11.30 mins,i ran that 4 times and all came up the same.
Not bad at all.

I was on the track today testing and it had a loose surface and this was the maiden test run for this motor and new clutch setup.
Once I use up 8 new glo plugs I’ll order a turbo head and see what that does.
I’ll mention too when I did a slower easy run around the track I got 12.15 mins.
But pushing it to the limit as a rookie as I am it started starving for fuel anywhere from 11.15 to 11.30 on a not the best of tune’s.

Got to the track today and spent some time re-tuning,Before the run times were around that 11.15 Now just over 13.00 mins
Very suprised.
Few changes beside better tuning I added a exhaust line cooler, moved the hoses away from the pipe and added a alloy heat shield on the fuel tank, about 1.5 mm thick.
When I came in to refuel I didn’t see that misty vapour floating around inside the tank.
Very pleased with the outcome.

...I'm pretty sure it's in Australia. "2010 australian buggy nationals" being the name of the video and all...
But yes, very nice track.
