I want to buy one so bad, but I am afraid it is too good to be true. That is a lot of extras for $219. I'm about to pull the paypal trigger.

Like the fact that it comes with an exhaust cooler, but not digging the little purse.

Come on. It's a "carry all" . I don't know when you would use it after the engine is installed. Looks cool anyway.

It's just another engine from the GO family, should be a good motor. We ran Novarossi carbs on this family of engine with good results. That was the only week spot on the NEW GO family of engines. IMO

these have some sleeve work done and crank also. not sure why they are called "modded" when there is no unmodded version available. i have the 3port pr21c and its more than enough for my rc8t with a 2035 pipe.

Just got my D5 kit a couple of days ago from Nathan and everything looks great. Gonna start break in this weekend and will post my findings...the motor is not modded but I think its like a base 5 port GO/Alpha.

Default This is a Stock Engine

Guys,

This is the first stock engine from Precirotate. Yes the price is very good when if you look around the 0801 pipes alone from other companies are like 79.99 from other companies.

The engine is great just remeber it is a go based engine and will tune like one.

Just wanted to give some feedback on the D5, I started the breakin today. The first tank I just idled very rich just to clean out anything that was in the motor from manufacturer and it purred flawless. Then began the varies tanks of fuel slowly getting to that full throttle position and no problem not even one flameout. At the 7-8 tank the motor became very smooth and started showing off its powerband (hard to believe its not modded), I believe is better then my Alpha green head. I'm very impressed with this combo the temps never exceeded 240 and down here its very humid and hot (98). Looking forward to racing this motor next weekend and so far this combo is definitely a great bang for the buck.

Nice, keep us posted on run times.
What fuel and plugs are you using?

Running the plug that came with motor which is like a P3 (ultra hot), the fuel is Byrons 25% with 11% oil. One thing I did notice is that the carb is very accurate, every turn of an hour on HSN/LSN you notice a change in performance. Is it saturday already, can't wait to tear it up on the dirt and see what this mill will do against the pack.
