My fellow CRE driver big shawn ran this weekend at the Silverstate Nitro Challenge. Both truggy and buggy qualified A main. Truck running agama A8T with the CRE Virtus and qualified 5th A main. Half way through the 30min main he had a bad electrical switch so he had to come in for a very long pit to bypass it that put him several laps down and he went back out to try to gain a few laps back and finished 10th. The virtus was very strong, smooth on the very bottom and ramped up quick giving him excellent power for the track.

Buggy he qualified 2nd A main and led the whole race with his clocked BTT (Argentina). On the last lap his motor moved and lost his clutch so was able to finish 2 nd. BTT was running excellent powerful. A perfect buggy motor.
Good job neal and John on these engines. Well worth every penny.

IMO, this is an excellent description of how power should flow from an engine,
and is a perfect complement to the builder.

Pretty new to this hobby but I've been hearing great things about Clocked engines and FX engines so i was wondering what the feedback on the clocked FX engines is. Especially compared to their Novarossi's. I know nova's are great but i'm still learning tuning and some people have warned that they could be trickier to tune.

Plus is there any recommendations of what pipe to use for the FX engine.

Thanks for any info

I have had several clocked Nova engines and I love them all. I do not have a Clocked FX mines stock, but I can tell you the best thing to do is to call Neal and talk to him he is the most intelligent engine guy you will find. He will point you in the right direction every single time. super nice guy.

Used my outerwear filter for 1st time today. Bar none the best $13 i ever spent. Our tracks are very dusty in Pa. We have to oil both inner and outer elements. Some tracks are so bad that a new filter will clog and richen your tune in a 20 min main to the point that some short run up jumps become a challenge. So today i lightly oiled inner filter, left outer filter dry and installed dry outerwear over filter. Right away I noticed how lean my tune got because the engine was breathing so much better through dry filter. Richend hsn at least 4 hrs and wow did it not only run better but power was a lot better. Almost like I removed a restrictor plate. Hardly anything stuck to it. Pic is from end of day, same filter. And yes it was dusty cuz I was checking out my buddies filters. The plus side is allowing better flow through filter drops engine vacuum which combats the problem of sucking dirt through front bearing. Winner, winner chicken dinner deal! Engine was so crisp that strangers were temping my engine after each race, lol. 236* was hottest.

Ran the Clocked Bonito for a gallon now, this thing is seriously fast.. Thought my Clocked P5 was fast LOL.

Neal you made a flying engine, this thing is really smooth in the beginning, and it pulls so fast... The top end is ridicilous :)) Made a lot of people come to me after the main.

Great job from CRE

Tyler got to run his CRE Bonito outdoors finally this weekend. Not a huge track and kinda short straight but man this thing is a missile!! Was low bite too and was very smooth and driveable!! Thanks again Neal and John!!
