All, I just ordered the Clocked Bonito and I'm wondering which pipe would be best. These are the pipes/headers I currently have and I would rather use one of these unless the mileage/power differences would be noticeable enough for me to purchase a new one. I have the Nova 2084 w/ the 41029 Mugen header, a dynamite 086 pipe/header, a dynamite 053 pipe/header and an Ofna 053. This will be for the Mugen 6T, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

I'm gonna say the dynamite 086 pipe would probably be the best choice from the selection of pipes that you have.

+1 the 086 pipe lets the bonito shine and it seems pretty good on the P5 too.

Has anyone tried the nova 9901 pipe on the bonito? Just wondering because that's the pipe they suggest to use on the novarossi website.

I ran it on a Toro a couple years back and well it just didnt do anything too well. Its kinda of an all around joe pipe from what I have experienced.

Neal, is there any percievable difference between the BTT and the BTTA? At least to the average racer?

Just ordered a Clocked P5. Can't wait!

Best way is to test the pipes you have I found 1005, 2058 and 086 are all great selections they all produce great power and nice run times. The 1005 is hard pipe to find if you ever get to buy pick that baby up its not a easy find. Also picking up a spare square header to inchange between pipes is a good buy some motors like that configuration expecially the CRE novas.

Just the bearings the A has steel bearings and the BTT has ceramic. That's it.

Awe man hang on its quite a ride. Leave it idle high until it loosens up.

+1 on the high idle. Wait until you have at least a gallon on it before you try to lower the idle down. I have learned a lot about tunning nitro engines sense I've been dealing with Neal and his engines. Thanks Neal!!!
