Anyone using the Reds Quattro clutch and having trouble getting the bell to cover all the shoes?

My bells are not deep enough, randomly I have two K car bells which are about 10.5mm deep and 1 protek bell which is also 10.5mm deep and one which is 12.0mm deep.

I cant move the bell down the crank as the inside face of the bell will rub on the pins and i'm 1.2mm short of getting full clutch pad contact.

You running a 13T or 14T on your 7? The Moog CB is very close to the tank and Im going to swap it out. Short tight track here with a Werks 34mm Fly/Light shoes. I ran this clutch on my 6R for a few tanks and she had tons of punch, thinking of going 14T for a lil less crazy low end, more control and mileage, mounting it to the R5R. Your thoughts.
Thanks

hey guys, just ordered my first nitro engine, the r5c, couple guys at local track are Reds sponsored so seemed like the natural choice. first venture back to nitro since a tmaxx 10 years ago. Is there a good write up somewhere akin to a "nitro for dummies" so i can learn everything and anything about nitro and break in and tuning?

The kyosho bell is too shallow for the clutch. When using the reds clutch it's best if you use the reds bell or like the other guys said there are other options out there but I'm using the reds bell with the reds clutch and the kyosho bell with the kyosho clutch

I don't know if its okay to ask here but i'm pretty new to the hobby and building my second kit. Is the R5 easy to tune and break in. I still not great at tuning but i do have a mechanic that is good at it. He recommended OS speed to me cause he said it would be easier for me to tune then the the NovaRossi's. I saw the R5 one though in our local hobby shop and its still pretty new here and hardly anyone uses it and it got me really interested. Any advice or feedback regarding it whether its easy to tune and it durabilty. Thanks

I had a REDS R5T as my first motor and it was very easy to break in and tune. And it had great mileage as well. I had an experienced Nitro racer teaching me how to break in and tune and he was impressed with the motor. One of the things that always turned me off about nitro racing was flameouts. They were never a problem with this motor for me. Ran well and idled smoothly.
