The screw that was broke was the idle air screw needle NOT the low end needle. I know the difference lol. I ordered the correct needle but evidently the carbs have changed since they were labeled GRP.

I bought the motor used and the slide was sticking. I pulled the IDLE screw out and found it was bent all to hell. Went to straighten it and it snapped. My low speed and high speed needles are perfect along with the rest of the carb.

Heh, funnily enough Amain put a picture there of the actual idle screw you need. I was going on that.
Seems like Amain put the wrong pic up, or has sent you the wrong part

Edit, checked again, and the screw in the package they show is the correct one
The package says partnumber: 0108060-01

The package I have has that part number and says Carb airscrew .21

I'm assuming this was the correct part just the carb has changed. Who knows. I'm only out $15 so I won't get mad about it.

The grp idle screw is about twice the diameter of the techno one I ordered.

I have a guy sending me a grp carb now so no worries.

Here's my package:

Maybe it's a low end needle who knows.

Strange indeed

The idle screw out of my GRP is exactly what is shown on Amain. It is the same as the Tecnopower idle screw you ordered. I have no idea why your idle screw is different. I do know that it says 1 on my GRP carb. Maybe there is a version 2 with a different idle screw?

My idle screw is under the front of the carb not on the back.

Evidently they made a running change and I have an old carb because your idle screw is the same size as this techno one while mine is a lot bigger.

Yeah must be

I found this pic of a GRP Ninja idle screw. If you look closely it is different from the idle screw that is in my GRP tuned or the Tecnopower engines. It looks more like your broken screw. Since the GRP tuned is based on the GRP Ninja you must have an early model GRP tuned and they made a running change like you suggested.

That screw is exactly like mine. Too bad they don't make them anymore. I do have a guy sending me a complete grp carb next week so at least I have one coming.

I believe I just found one nip on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MUGEN-GRP-NI...ht_1833wt_1163

I went ahead and bought it. Looks EXACTLY like mine that broke. Oh well at the very least I will have $10 in a spare carb for my other grp.

It looks to be the same but it seems to be for the .12 engines.

I had a look at where i found that pic and it lists the GRP Ninja .21 idle screw as partnumber MR05008.

Could still be the same part tho but possibly listed under different partnumbers for the .12 and .21 engines. Fingers crossed

I know Technopower are closing there doors soon, but I noticed Amain are running these things out the door dirt cheap. Is it worth taking a gamble and getting one considering they are closing teh doors?

Am looking for a cheap truggy motor, which of the them would be the best option?

Would this here suit a truggy?

The B01i is a very smooth engine, I woule not advice this one for Truggy use, the B02 would be more suitable.
