Hmm never heard of them.... no heat comparison chart for turbo plugs either. No pictures of their products or much information at all.

I met the man at the I-Hobby Expo a couple years ago. His name's not Merlin. But I'll be jiggered if I can remember it.
He stated that he had manufactured plugs for Traxxas for a time. He was quite friendly and willing to discuss his product in detail. |

Thats great news..... The engines should be solid for ya, now to fix some bad luck? I'm affraid rabbits feet are on backorder :)
The tuned and truggy engines will be here mid next week depending on customs. We should have some in stock after pre-orders are filled :) Tony, Have you tried the 21BT yet? I have heat cycled 21BT with 6 tanks on the box and 3 on the deck, not come alive yet, however wondered if you had run one in yet. For some reason it kept on cutting, probably too rich, however going to run the 21B tomorrow as its had about 3/4 gallons and is really coming to life. We are racing on this track tomorrow; maxbashing.com/mbforum/showthread.php?t=11215[/url] and want to take my time with the BT as I recon it will be special. |

My experience with the engines is you'll need to run at the least of about a gallon to get it close to loose enough for decent mileage and consistent tune. I have engines that have 3-4 gallons on them that I cant turn over by hand cold. Warm they turn over, the seal is excellent. |
Is there anyone at the worlds running the tecno engine?
|
Yes quite a few europeans... Rody is also there
|
Got my order in for the tuned .21

There were a few there in the european drivers cars... Rody was also there testing a few things as well as gathering data on the conditions. I received emails and updates throughout the week from Rody, he also posted some videos on his FB page of the Tecno's racing throughout the week
Nice Donnie !! |
Thanks Tony. I can tell this motor is going to be a screamer. Im going to order some h6 plugs today. Im thinking of going to Motorama in feb 2011. im sure we will have a lot of tecno Power running around.
