why are you looking to sell this engine. How much fuel has been though it.

On another note I got the engine in the mugen last night around 7pm. The engine has a super clean look to it. I ran 2 break in tanks in it last night before it got dark all I can say is wow i could not of asked for a better idle. Im going to try to get as much fuel though it today after work as I can with more updates tomorrow

here you go...

a new TUNED version of the 14mm crankshaft in the "B01T".This crankshaft is made from a special steel containing an unique composition and heat-treatment, machined and finished to perfection., a new internally shaped and silicone filling provides a special flux for an even more optimum fuel-air mixture. Additionally a new IONBOND coating has been applied to the pin of the crankshaft to make it even more stable and durable.

a new backplate has been developed with additional hard-coating, the new internal shape of the backplate improves the gasflow of the engine which results in increased performances, the special hardcoating also reduces internal friction.

new wristpin with additional IONBOND coating to reduce friction and to make the conrod/wristpin combination more relaiable and also more durable.

From talking with Tony he said were looking at maybe the end of nov to first of the year. Im sure there will be a few at the words.

Update on Break In. This break in is going very well the engine is starting to show a little life now and power after 8 tanks. There still seems to be a good amount of metal to metal pintch but I can tell the engine is starting to free up. Keeping temps in 200 to 205 range. Cant wait this engine is going to be fast.

We might see the Tuned engine sooner... hoping

I just got a call from Rick and they're testing more pipes.... he ran the JP-1 and got 10:54 at race pace and said it had good power. so that could be another option

Hi There,

I am running the Tecnopower 21B in at the moment and currently have put approx 12 tanks through it.

It sounds awesome and feel as if it wants to jump out of my car!!!!!

I have yet to race tune the engine, this should happen this weekend, hopefully my 21BT will come tomorrow, if so I will post pics.

Question - I am looking at putting a ceramic centre bearing in the engine - does anyone know the size?

Tony the JP-1 they are testing on is that in the buggy or truggy? I just mounted the second TP in the truggy and will probably look to try different pipe combinations.

Like tony said i ran the JP-1 on my buggy last night and i loved it. i felt like it had great power throughout and still got great run time (10:50 in race conditions). the motor just felt more crisp on the bottom and still had great top. Still want to try more pipes but really like the JP-1.

The bushing in the end of the connecting rod is radiused (sp)

Someone had to choose between an extra machining process or quality regardless of cost. I guess we know what Rody likes.

Engine 1 is broke in I do have to say this was a very painless break in. Never once did I have any probs with the engine stalling or anything. The TP seems to have very nice power from the low end though the top end. This is all on the 2069 pipe. Im going to play with pipes tomorrow at a local club race and will post some results as to my findings.

Sounds good I will sample that on the buggy as well.
