Do you have a link, Back when these first came out I scoured the web for info, no luck. Force model seems super secretive:weird: Thanks!

It came out from our local hobby shop about a month ago they also have pipe on a really expensive box and German words on it but sold here but really cheap about $77 looks like a JP-4.

The internals are the same with the JL .21 pictures you posted early on the thread, I have put 2 gallons on it and I still can't turn it.

The series champ uses it he also own the shop and introduced the engine, the leaflet of the engine doesn't have website on it that's the reason I watched this thread for tuning tips because the engine is the same.

only the two of us was using it when he introduced it, since he won the series and I won one of the novice races in the series ( i came late on the series) most of our racers are now using it :)

After seeing this, I'm a believer in getting a lapped piston. I'm just so impressed by the lack of wear still. There's no doubt in my mind that it prolongs engine life. I'm quite surprised that the guys that buy the high-dollar mills don't get this done, especially when you consider the benefits. If this engine still looks this good, imagine what an Italian would look like still.:sneaky:

Very impressive Nid! What fuel are you running?

Thank-you James, I've been running OD 30%, I find it very easy to tune, and also makes my engines very responsive and crisp. I get good mileage too, and it doesn't stain my engine like some other fuels.

Dumb A$$ question but I have to!
I have 5 tanks thru it so far, started leaning it out a bit, my question is TEMPS, my current temp fluctuates between 190 and 215, when the car goes to idle the temp rises a bit, is this due to my low end being to lean, or just a new engine, are my temps ok, and will they improve after more wear in?

And don't forget that it fries your eyes and nostrils too..besides, most brands will charge you more for ass-scented fuel:D, not OD.

dishsoap 04-23-2010 05:01 PM

I am running my clocked JL right now at Sun Lakes. 9+ minutes run time. Mugen P5 plug JP-2 and Byrons Pro 2 30% with a 7 mm venturi. Still have my tune a little rich cause the track is super loomy with dozens of ruts so I need to keep the tires at contact as much as possible. God I love this engine. thanks Neal!! You have a winner and I sold one for you to team member Shane Mann. Ship it out bud. I'll send the $$ on Monday. It's turning heads and I'm blowing away ninjas and Novas running rich
