tank 6 saw the ground.

motor stayed right around 208 i richened up the low end a bit more from where it was at, just to be safe as to not get it to hot!

tank 7-8 tomorrow and i will start to lean the hsn 1 hour at a time, 2-3 times a tank keeping close eye on temps.

so far so good. alpha is starting to come alive!

if you match it with a 0801 from a plus, they sound MEAN! i have only gotten mine up to about 1/3 throttle and she sounds mean as hell!

I was only able to put a tank through my Z852, man these things are tight! I'll probably finish the break in process tomorrow. Can't wait to race it!!

Any comparisons between the Alpha and Go engines? I am thinking the z852 is more like the 7 port Go and the s852 is more like the 5 port Go. S852 is better for a truggy I am assuming, can it be a little too much in a buggy on a slippery track? I just got my first ones to sell and don't want to steer anyone wrong, I definatly will be trying one out here in march. Motors and packaging look awesome!!

I'm going to let the guys that have ran a GO give you input on that.

We have suggested the red head and green head for buggy with the orange for truggy. BUT with Meen V. winning at the Pre Worlds with the S852 in buggy I bet a lot of people will try that now.

Rex, I ran the GO 5 port and 7 port for 2 years and I just got my alpha, still in the break in process but from what I have seen I think the Z852 has more bottom end than the 7 port, but I'm not sure on the top yet, I'll know this weekend though

the s852 is nothing like a go tech 5/7 port. mine so far feels like a os28.

went over the videos i got of my motor today, and i was recording when my sr3000 decided to stop working do to a lipo failure.
