The Speed didn't see the muddy days. I had the issues with it during qualifing. But then I choose to run the Plus4 in the mud. And it was alot of mud. I may have stressed the motor a pit due to the added weight and such. I know the trashed the clutch !
|
Yea mud isnt the best track surface... Gets in EVERYTHING and REALLY weighs down the cars.... if not tuned for it the engine will lean out, blow out clutches etc. Hit me up if you have any problems figuring out the idle screw issues u were having with the speed.

Adam did a few more tanks finish off break-in still not at its prime // setup 2060/P3 still running fat but holy crap very impressive awesome MILL temp average 175-185 motor sounds crisp
I have a extra OS speed crank do you recommend and should I swap into a P4. Im pretty much at sea level and Humidity averages 50% |

There still pretty new... Time will tell if they are mediocre engines, good engines or a GREAT engines!! |
You modded an O.S. .21xzr for me a few weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to stretch it out yet. What's your take on that one?
|
OS engines have been around for a long time and have proven to be top notch mills with IMO the best carbs in the business. The new On Road XZR is no exception and IMHO is a score. It's a vast improvement from there old ZVR that's for sure. If properly maintained "rod/bearings changed as needed and tuned properly" should live a good long life! The one thing i would have really liked to see on the 21XZR would be DLC coating on the crankshaft....
The whole new XZ line from OS has been great so far and has yet to disappoint. |
