Adam, you are a freaking genius! I have had many, many, many Vspecs, but the one in my truggy that you modded, OMG!!!! Seriously, words can not express how impressed i was. Vspecs are allready easy to tune, but this has to be, no, is the best running Vspec I have ever owned. Power when I wanted it, fuel economy, sits there purring like a kitten. I didnt stall once all weekend. I didnt have to touch the needles all weekend after the first additional tune when I was as Motorama. I was blowing by people like they where running .15's. Wish my driving was a little more dialed, but I did manage to bump from the d-main (Dont ask!) to the a-main and finish 6th in open truggy.
People kept asking me if that was an ordinary Vspec, or was it another engine with a Vspec head, all I did was point to your name inscribed on the block. Hopefully the 4 that said they will contact you, will get it done, b/c im sure they will wet their pants!
Dude, you work is awesome!
Thanks!

Very glad to hear you are pleased with the Vspec! And i must say coming back from a D main and finishing 6th in Amain is nice! Congrats!

I just wanted to thank you for the best engine I ever ran in my Revo! The TZ you worked over for me was incredible!I only had a few tanks of fuel through it plus your break in by the MT A Main and I never got passed on the front stretch at Motorama.I need to up my driving skills now to honor your work. That engines rediculous fast and its only going to get better! :D

Hi Adam just confirming you got the motor when you have a chance to work on her let me know what you think buyer said 6 tanks.

Received the engine Bigjay. It's in good condition and everything checked out nice. But i would have to say it has more then 6 tanks through it.

Im not answering for Adam, nor your seller. But some people will say 6 tanks and it truely is 6 tanks, while some will say 6 tanks after break in, some will say 6 tanks and assume the buyer knows its after break in, and some will just flat out lie and say 6 tanks, when in fact it has a gallon or more. People lie just to get a sale (Not saying this happened to you). But if Adam says its good then you are safe.

Back on topic. Adam, have you had your hands on Alpha engines yet? Whats the verdict. You can send me pm if you wish.

Its really hard to estimate but id say probably around half gallon or so.... It still has some metal pinch and checks out fine so it doesn't have a lot of run time on it... So you are good to go.

Hey Adam,

Been awhile.

I went to the Nitro Challenge at the pit. Had a blast. Didn't run too got though. I think somthing was fishy about a motor. I think the idle screw on the speed might be the issue. I haven't have a chance to look everything over since I got back. Still got a while till the season starts here. I have to rebuild my rides due to the mud at that race from the mains. Crazy mud. I took it apart and cleaned it, but still needs more TLC.

Anyways......

Whats NEW ?

Colt4g63 03-07-2010 02:17 PM

Do you think anything got down in the engine with all the mud at the pit??

Same ol same ol here. Hard at it as always!
