Hey Ron, want to give a thanks to your driver Mo Denton. He helped me and alot of other Werks Drivers at the Mid Winter Championships this past weekend.

Sub artic temps and horrible qualifiers till Mo took the time to save the day.

Mo, I gave you props during my A main intro- hope you heard.

Thanks again.

Thanks Joe
If you don't want to buy the Werks pipes, at least get the 2035 from any brand, is not expensive and you will unleash must of the power and run time of this engine. Back in the beginning of this thread the JP-3 was test and it was a ok pipe, not much bottom poor run time. Can't remember anyone testing the 9886, try the 9886 and report your feedback. By experience there is nothing like the 2013/2057. I can't say anything about the 2058 , weather too bad to test. M2C

if the 9886 is similar to an 086 it will run ok but as VWVR6 said 2013/2057/2058 will unlock the potential of this motor. I was getting almost 10min pit stops out of my B5/2013 with 7mm restrictor last season in buggy but I have a pretty heavy throttle finger. Guys running it in truggy should get 10 min a little easier. OH and nothing compares to the sound of a 2013 almost sounds like a 2 stroke dirt bike!

I have nothing but pure respect for Mo Denton. He is more than willing to help anyone out at any given time. Great guy and we could sure use more people like him at the tracks.

Last time someone posted asking for the video Mo said he's going to post it up in a few days. He never did.

HI guys,
I just picked up a B5 and 2013 that had a gallon through it. The previous owner was running 25% and had removed a thin shim. Is this the recommended way to run on 25% or should I just reinstall the shim. Thanks

That should not be a problem with 25%. To double check pull the head off and take a look at the top of the piston and the inside of the head button (the combustion chamber). What you want to see is the normal, smooth, shiny machined finish that you would expect. If upon inspection the parts look dull with an almost sandblasted look to them possibly with some pitting this is a sign of detonation and then you should go back in deck height. Once you take a look what I'm talking about above will be pretty self-evident. Hope this helps!

Ron
