COOL DOWN 2.- Three (3) tanks on the track at WOT on the main straight with very rich setting of HSN, as if the engine wants to die, and tuning the HSN at the end of third tank to get almost full power. COOL DOWN AFTER EVERY TANK 3.- For 20% Nitro, use .20 head shim and N° 7 Glow plug. After that, the engine will give more power every new tank. Which means that Breaking-In Sirios, should be done with more or less 300 to 500cc of fuel. Andrea Rossi Star Motor Corp. (SIRIO) Also to, I just picked up a sirio 12 trp pro 3 port AAC turbo, the one with the blue head before the EVO 2 came out. I need an SG crankshaft for it and want to know if any crank from the sirio 12 range from the first engine to the new EVO 2 will fit? |

ALL .12 SG CRANKS FIT, BUT TRY AND GET NEW EVO 2 CRANK IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN OLD STYLE, BIGGER CRANK HOLE AND BETTER TIMING. AFM |
Thanks AFM.
Now where I can get one of these EVO2 SG cranks? |

I have sirrios modded by Dennis Richey Mathew ( Smeltz racing), and just purchased a Murnan EVO 2 engine. I have'nt ran the Murnan engine yet,, but... I'm not empressed with his work at all. The smelz and the Richey have unreal bottom, and mid range end. Which is what we're looking for. The polishinging and so called porting work in the Murnan murnan is'nt much. I hope the engines performance is better that the workmanship looks like.
And Baker says he's never ran a faster engine?? Hmm! I guess Barry, never ran a Richey before!! LOL. Anybody running a Murnan Ufmar moddied EVO2?? Just curiuos!! |

I have two Evo2 engines, one AAC and the other ABC, both modified by me, and both are unbelievable fast, with the AAC being more stable at high temps. A friend of mine just got a Murnan modified Evo2, will see it at the track soon and let you know....but the only one that can tell which is better of the three you mentioned, is yourself, because you have them all. Originally posted by InitialD Just curious... Did Dennis mod a Sirio before? I thought he stopped modding for the general public even before Sirio came out with their engines. The sirrio Dennis done for me was modded after he quit doing general public work. He doe'snt like the sirrio engines I don't think. He done 2 for me I think just for a anti Trinity thingy! I think I have the only Sirrio/ Richey mods. And after alittle testing with it against the Murnan power, Dennis still rules for the power range we need. Not cutting on Murnan, he does good work, but just not the power range we need. I'm also using a MT that has some Top Gun 777 work for short tracks that is very impressive to. Hell , the MT will eat the Rody RB 5 port turbos up!!! Sometimes it pays to be more than the general public.  |
