How does a CL7R compare to the old Collari WCR.21 limited edition motor?

Michael: I know that you are incorrect. I have been offered some CL7R's that are ABC. I just didn't know if they all were ABC or if they were both ways. It seems that the non STI's are ABC and the STI versions are all AAC. See the other post right above me.

I have both the CL7R and the CL7R sti and they are both AAC. I know the CL7B's are ABC.

SIRIO'S motor line up for on road 21s are CL7R (AAC), Cl7R STI (AAC), RR STI (ABC), S21 WCR (AAC), S21 P (ABC), S21 RR (ABC), S21 RE (ABC), S21R (ABC).

+1 Mike is right the off-road line are ABC the on road are AAC

Scott the 1st line that came to Kyosho were AAC & just like Mike I got 1 of each from the 1st delivery reg version & STI

I am in need of a rear bearing for a Collari .21 engine.
I believe the one I have is the same one mentioned above, and has a Sirio counterpart. It was sold with a wooden box and has the alum sleave with heat sink fins, that bolts to the crankcase. The rear bearing is an oddball size;
14.2 X 25.3 X 6mm with a 6.3mm wide inner race (extension on one side).
Anyone know of a source?

Ceramics are really good, less wear as well as a smoother with better tolerances under racing conditions ive been using them in my sirios this year and the only bearing problems ive had are with a front one in an evo4 which was a steel bearing replaced both and havnt had a problem yet "knock on wood"

I have never had a ceramic bearing hold up in ANY application, for more than one race day! Have heard many similar reports in engine applications. I won't chance it.

i agree with grassy , we both drive sirio powered cars in aus and ive run ceramic bearings (genuine) in all my sirios and they have lasted 2/3 times longer

i run ceramics in my sirio and have never change a bearing
while my cheaper mate's dont run ceramics and had to change
2 set off bearings mainly the frount this season
