Glow plug question. Anyone have any experience with the dynamite platinum series turbo plugs? My LHS only has these in turbos and would rather use them if they are comparable with odonnell. Thanks

no , 77 , 100 and 99 for standard

77 or 100 for everyday fairweather running and 99 for super hot days :)

Hi Monty. Race Report:

The FMS performed awesome for me. I forgot to switch to a larger restrictor before the RC Pro race tho. On Friday the engine didn't quite have the power I was expecting. So I tweaked the needles only to go right back where it had been. I had a buddy time me racing some other guys during practice and with one crash it ran over 13 minutes. I thought I was seriously off on the tune but the engine temped 240° and seemed rich on bottom.

So saturday came and I stayed on top of it making sure it wasn't too lean. And I qualified 5th in the open A-main. Open class is between intermediate and expert. So at the end of Saturday I over heard a friend talking about restrictors and that's when I remembered the engine still had the 6.5 restrictor. DOH!!!!

On Sunday I switched restrictors, retuned, and was much happier with the performance. In warm ups for the main I was sooo excited cause the truck was so much faster. I didn't have to hold WFO to get the performance I wanted. I felt like I had much better control. But 10 laps in my battery lead broke. Ugh!

Thanx man. The FMS is awesome.

Hey Monty, I am putting a Boca front bearing in and was curious if you like to pull the seal off of the back side of the bearing?

i do prefer an open oiled bearing than a closed greased bearing . havent used too many boca bearings but the one with the yellow seals is a pretty good front bearing , why not the 17011 front nova bearing , it is phenomenal

I use the #4 hot and have had great results. I would compare it to a MC59 standard. Bulletproof.
