i wish i knew about before you adjust the lsn, you should have ,it open i hope i dint damage my needle on my nova.



i do have a another question though what, kind of pipe would, work good on a rb s5 engine im. gone to use it on my truggy?

Ok out of the pipes you have you should stick with one for a bit to get your issue figured out. I would try the 053 with long header.

Now when you say the hotter the engine gets the worse the bottom end gets tells me it's way to lean on the LSN. Go 1 full turn ricker on the LSN and tune again. Make sure the engine is fully up to temp before you start turning the needles. If you are trying to tune before it's up to temp you are causing yourself headaches, these engines take a while to warm up and will seem rich and slow till they are warm.

One other thing you should look at is your gearing. I have been running the WS7 in my buggy recently and it is quite similar to the S7. In a Losi buggy I run a 13 tooth CB and a 50 tooth spur. These are 7 port square stroke engines that really excel on open tracks where you don't have a lot of 180's into a jump. Try to go like 2 bigger on your spur or one smaller on your CB.

Best pipe/header combo I ever ran on an S5 was a 2020 pipe with a 198 header.

ok thanks who makes the, 2020 pipe and 198 header? its that a mod range pipe or a top end pipe, or bottom end pipe?

It's an RB pipe and header. It is a bottom end pipe and sounds awesome too as it has a really short stinger on it. I actually like this pipe because the stinger doesn't stick out of the body so if a marshal grabs your car by the sides it does not kill the engine.

will it work good on a large track, that has a long straight and sweeping turns?

I like to run a 7.5 in truggy with a B9 and generally a 7 in buggy. I have tried a 6 and just didn't like it that much, it felt like it lost too much power and it also makes the tuning gap fairly narrow. With a 7.5 in truggy I can easily pit at 10 minutes on a large wide open high speed track.

finally got to run the shark 9 on the track yesterday. WOW!!! This thing is a beast! And the runtime was killer too. 10min pits won't be a problem at all. Gonna have to order me another 1 :D

Order it soon, the engines were a limited run of 400 and I have not heard if they are going to make more of them. Were you running it in a truggy or a buggy? I have only ran a few test tanks in a buggy so far in mine thanks to Colorado's super weather.

It was in buggy. Probably try the other 1 I get in my truggy. But as of now the C6 is still flying so I'm gonna run that 1 for a while.

hi there everyone i have a c6bbusa l2g tuned edition and i would like too know where it was made what is the pipe(header 192-pipe 2045 i have this)what are the ins and outs of this engine.i have a c6bb l2g and it really rocks

So has anyone messed with the head shims in the Killer 9 yet? I took out the thickest of the 4, it measured .24mm and the motor ran great on 25% Nitro Juice. I'm wondering if I should try removing another. I didn't see an increase in temps, it was pulling off the track at 210 and I was getting a little over 8 minutes out of a tank. It was very cold and 100% humidity that night.

The C6USA is a lot of motor, if you think your regular C6 is fast the USA is even faster. I only run the USA in truggy as it's a handfull to drive in a buggy. As for the pipe and header, what you have is perfect. Just make sure you don't lean the engine out too much and you will be set, the LSN should always be slightly out from flush. the HSN generally ends up close to flush or even in from flush a little. It's also a fairly cold blooded engine and takes a few minutes to warm up so try not to turn on the needles till it's fully warmed up.
