I have a Werks B5 that someone gave to me, I am giving it to someone deserving. Preferably a kid that cant afford an engine that will use it. I have it shown on my Rw facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/RwMods?fref=nf

You can send me an e-mail to [email protected] and tell me their story. I will decide next weekend.

How would you compare the RB Rocket to the blue Rex Paloma?

The Rocket is a std. long stoke and the blue head Paloma is the super long stroke like a Bonito. Probably not very similar engines. The Rocket is a nice engine with an R7 rod, team piston, 17011 front bearing, weighted crank.

I have not personally ran both. By looking at the timing #'s stock the Paloma should have more power. The Paloma is just like a Bonito and would be good in a truggy, Rocket more for a buggy but this is just my opinion by looking at them.

Just so you guys know

One month ago I damaged the piston on my Argus R8 when removing the pin in order to change the conrod after approx. 2 gallons. I was already prepared to spend $$$ on a new engine but I decided to send the piston and sleeve to Rex. He matched my sleeve with a different piston and it works perfectly, just like when it was a new engine. I just came back from the track, the performance and the runtime are still there, thanks for the excellent work!

What about setting up and engine for running properly?

I have two Power Racing, I think they are .27, these got mid range needle. I have no idea on how to set them up. Have looked online and cant find any information about them.

One may need a pinch, the other one is still needs breakin.

I am not familiar with the Power racing brand. If it is a .27 it might be made by Sirio which made a .27 and also made them for Trinity I believe. Most times the mid needle is left alone and is usually flush with the housing.

I do have a tuning guide on my site at www.rw-mods.com Biggest thing is to set the idle gap first on any engine.
