Default fuel

Hello Rex those engines that were ran with vp fuel. What % of oil did the use. I use the 11% now almost done with the first gallon but i did add the caster oil. I took apart my oldest engine i had that was ran with my vp fuels did notice some small rust spot. This is a engine from 2005 also. Just wondering if i should get the hobby shop to change brands since it the only fuel the carrier.

I think the Vp is Ok as long as you add some Castor oil. I am assuming the engines I was working on lately were maybe the low oil % Vp. I could tell right when I took them apart which fuel they were using. The residue hardens over time also and doesnt leave a nice oily film in the engine.

Another great day yesterday with my RW alphas! Between my brothers and I we had 5 RW alphas rolling and none of them missed a beat!

I'm not sure what you did to mod Kendall's motor for the J-Con race, but that thing was FLYING down the back straight!!

He really likes the R8 he has in his buggy. It is an R8 with some crank timing, ceramic bearing and backplate mod. No dremel work at all on it. It is very linear but still tons of power. Too bad his servo went out, I think he was in 3rd in the buggy main.

Thanks for Rex for the Argus A5 with engine lapping. Finally in the Tekno NB48 and after a few times on the box and in the driveway, the motor should be ready for some running tonight. I plan to leave it on the fat side but we will see how the night goes.

The lapped Argus A5 from RW Mods powered my Tekno NB48 to 7th on the starting grid in the A main at round 2 of the Midwest Nitro Series and after leading for half the race,I had a pit lane wreck that cost me the lead but the motor kept me on pace and close to the lead. But time ran out and I finished second.

I plan to have the full break in done on my next motor so I can hit the ground running.

Thanks for being a sponsor of the event Rex. I didn't think of it but I should of taken a photo of the banners that were put up with the others.
