i am the worst fuel miliege driver you have ever seen and i can get 9mins temping under 220, i know a guy that is getting 12mins outta his, so i would say yes because 9mins is more ive ever gotten out of an engine my reedy would only get 7min, my rb c6 7min, my picco 8min, vspec 8min. My favorite thing about these engines is they last forever 10-15 gallons never touching it, i encourage everyone to give these engines a try you will not be disappointed, will save you money in the long run because of it lasting so long, you would need 2 other brand engines on a radicals 1.

what exhaust are people using on their radical 621t? i saw something about a jp2?

is the radical exhaust any good? has anyone tried it?

I have yet to experiment with pipes. I used the Ninja 2053 and I was impressed. However, I think it wants a top end pipe. So im gonna try a re10 and if im wrong, ill try a 2050. LOL Its all trial and error. I have heard people using the jp2 pipes with great results. I am running this in my MBX6T with the smallest restrictor and a p3 plug. I am confident I can get at least 12 minutes on a tank.
As far as the Radical pipe goes, Dave said they got all the spacing figured out to work awesome. If I dont get the results i want with the above mentioned pipes, i will order a Radical pipe.
I cant wait for the engine to lose its mechanical pinch. Its already a beast with it.

i want to do some research before i order an exhaust because i dont wanna spent £60 or so and find the exhaust does not work well with the engine.

i have been told that the losi RE10 exhaust is good for any engine, but at £60 it is quite alot.

i like the look of the radical exhaust, i think i might have to email dave and see what he thinks.

any one else got a recommendation for an exhaust?

Yea, the re10, 2060, 2042 will all do the trick. You can pick up a used one in the for sale section anywhere from $30 and up. I would try the Radical pipe and have Dave tell you the spacing required.

It would depend on whether you're running Truggy or Buggy.
For buggy (I only run Trugg) I imagine a top end pipe would be fine as the motor has plenty grunt to start with. If you're running Truggy you want a bottom end pipe.
I know one of the team guys is running a TT 2035, AE or Reedy 2035 is the same pipe.....I think. He's done lots of experimenting already and he says it's the pipe to run with the Radical. I use the Radical Pipe, It comes with spacers so you can adjust the length of the header.Short for top end, Long for bottom.A one pipe solution and you can get it from Dave @ GotNitro.

Finally got my new 621T outside to finish breakin before this weekend. Engine felt snappy and sounds good even rich. I will be racing it this weekend at Hobby Hut in Audubon Pa for the Region 2 points race. I have the 621T mated to the Radical 2010 pipe and header. I am using 1 large spacer between the header and pipe. Will give all a report afterwards.

ran the mo state finals this past weekend, placed 2nd in pro truggy and 7th in pro buggy both engines ran fantastic all weekend, they both have around 6 gallons in them, the buggy temped at 190 after 45min main and the truggy temped at 213. These engines are amazing and i owe all of my success this season to these engines.

lve tried all different pipes but what made the biggest differents was the header pipe,they seem to really like the long sweeping type header not the short tight bent ones

The werks 2013 is pure nasty in that engine. It has that long sweeping header also.:nod:

i will be ordering the radical exhaust some time so i put that in my new car.

but does anyone have trouble with their carb not fully closing? i went racing and when i apply full throttle then neutral, when i apply the brakes the carb slightly closes and it has a big effect on the idles, what is causing it? i think it is the linkage but is it?
