I dont think he was running the version in the link, Ryan told me he was running the 3 needle carb with the tungsten crank. It's like the speed version of the one in the link and will be out soon after. Ran great all week for all the guy's running them.

ok thanks for the link fella's!

i was tossing up between a Kanai Evo IV STI and the Plus4 novarossi but this Reedy is seriously drawing me into its tractor-beam lol.

i'm just a little scared as to what it's going to cost if/when it comes out over here!!!!

Shane Racer 02-25-2009 04:04 AM

The one in the link I posted will be around 260.00-270.00 in the hobby shops.

jamminnay 02-25-2009 05:11 AM

oh ok, i saw the $499 price tag on it. that's a lot better then cos at $499US it would mean a minimum $600-$650 over here.

Bigedmond 02-25-2009 01:19 PM

the 499us was MSRP.

Shane Racer 02-25-2009 01:23 PM

The msrp says 429.00 on that link.

PTP Racing 02-25-2009 01:42 PM

I'm thinking it will be possible to find them for about $250 from some of the cheaper online places.

yes it does, my bad sorry!!!

HaulinBass 02-26-2009 05:55 AM

im guess ing around $230-$250 for the standard motor.

Nice to see TTR making a buggy engine again, there older offerings were excelent motors for their time and about the most durable easy to tune engine you could find. they were basicly os RGs with more power, favorite motor of the 90s

Congrats to the AE/Reedy camp for their win at the N.C.

Ryan's Reedy engine was looking strong and his fuel milage has been getting better week after week.

I am looking forward to the release of this engine.

I would try one, I think they are made in Taiwan, just like my favorite engine brand SH:nod:

Rick,
And about the glow plugs? Reedy is gona sell the glow plugs? Are they compatible with other glow plugs brand? Which glow plugs the pilots are using?

Chris Reilly 03-17-2009 08:12 AM

Rick said they are coming out with glow plugs. I believe they are running OS P3's.
