Well I ordered one. Gonna order some ceramic bearings too. also having it modded by ClockworkRacing. Ill be interested to compare it to the Stock.. at this price it should be fun to see and not too hard on the wallet.

Is the rear bearing 25mm , 25.4mm, or 25.8mm?

I guess I'll make 3 seperate orders.. LOL I think I'll just sell the pipes I have, as they are listed forsale now and get the OD pipe..

Thanks for the info..

The R2 pipe is better for the engine. and it doesnt cost a whole lot. ive been running the JP3 on it because its just a freaking animal with it but im sacrificing run time, i plan on getting an R2 pipe in the next week or two and i might order another engine too LOL

If you guys have the OS 2060 pipe, that pipe works awesome too! In a buggy with 9mm insert 97t and 2060 8-10 min mattering conditions and track. TONS of power, great motor, I got my extra engine, for that price its work buying an extra!

I think the 2060 pipe is close to the same design as the r2, when I put the R2 on my engine, the tune barley changed, the bottom richened a tad, thats it for me, the power was the same, fuel milage was about the same.

For those wondering, tower allowed me to put 3 into my cart, and did not increase the cost at all.. The price remained 140 for all 3.. $400 for 3 engines that rip is a bargain to say the least.. Wish I had known sooner.. Big race this weekend that a new motor might help to remove some headache.. LOL

Just got mine today I will be going to ARC Saturday for run-in and racing:nod:

I love this engine, I let a buddy of mine run it this weekend in my back up buggy and it ran awesome but....the fuel milage was horrible, all of a sudden i went from 8-9 at that type of open track to 6-7! Set up for engine is R2 pipe, 97t plug, 9mm venture, stock head shimming, 30% JACS fuel (local guy, gonna switch to Sidewinder Team Strike 30%) 13t/46t gearing. She screams, and I'll go hour by hour but I can't get it over 230!

Now can I safely remove a head shim running the 30%, I'm here In hot humid sunny Florida.

The R2 pipe is awesome but if you want a little more run time the 2013 will give you 30+ seconds more and equal or more power. I would also go to the 7mm restrictor. and with 30% you will be ok with 1 shim. also if you can find the 87t plugs. should get you back to 8-9 with great power still.

2013 really? I stopped running the 2013 on my OS's due to poor fuel milage, but on the other hand most Sirio based motors now call for a 2013 or 2057 and fuel milage remains quite good, I'll give it a try on my SS. Maybe as it cools down lowering the restrictor will help also. I'll tell u what if the 87t ever comes back in stock I'm getting a sheet!

Thanks for the help,

Andy

Is run time on this engine really poor?? If so I'll pass, I do not wanna go down tha road again..

Anyone tried 9886 Bivarossi pipe on it?? I know those are the pipes that most guys running +4's are running and gettin 12 easily, with great power..

I'm getting 10+ with my buggy. Almost 11 in truggy. Both with R2 pipe. I'm still a little rich on the bottom with both engines.

I'm using the Dynamite 053 and the last 2 tanks I ran in my D8T came in dry at 10:49 and 11:14 and I'm still a little rich.

I have a R2 Pipe and Header, both in good shape (no dents, just your normal scuffs on the end of the stinger) that I will be selling. PM if interested.
