Please lets not go there !
There are other good threads on RC tech that started out well, then once fuel is mentioned it turned into a pissing contest. Lets just keep it GO related. PPPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE. |

just a question.....what plug is recommended for the GX7R and GX5R, i remember seeing this somewhere, was it he 97t?
|
you are correct. i run oddonell 97T's with no problems. I think its the Go T3 i also use. the one that comes with the motors. otherwise i just go with the OD plugs. ;)
|
Go T3 or T4, OSP3 or Odonnell 97T.
As for fuel, it's best to run something that doesnt have parafin wax as a lubricant. No fuel manufacturer will outright say it, but if you've got black deposits on your piston head and/or crank, odds are you're running really rich or your fuel has wax as a lubricant. Fuels from the major brands will typically have the best blends, but look at signatures around here and find out what's in your local shop. If you try a fuel and have trouble tuning, switch to another. |
thanks guys, i only run byron's fuel.
