Yeah, I did write that but somehow that is not what he wants to hear.
I am located in Springfield Mo. We don’t have a track. Probably been 15-20 years since a nitro track was in town. Last time I raced nitro was 15 years ago at hobby world in Joplin Mo. Hobby World closed, I moved on to different hobbies. An indoor carpet track off-road opened in Springfield, in November 2024 and I got back into racing again, having a blast the entire time. Whispers are growing louder that a guy is building an outdoor off-road track geared towards 1/8th scale. Looks like a soft opening date in march with the grand opening race in April. As you can see, from the timeline I have laid before you, NO LOCAL INFORMATION IS REVELANT OR ACCURATE. I have 2 local hobby shops that are geared towards bashers and traxxas gear. They ALSO recommend fuel with a high oil content. Cough cough. I personally ran Byron’s with 9% oil and had zero issues with Italian motors. That’s why I came here to ask simple to the point questions, and only asking for simple to the point answers in return. Why is this so difficult for you to comprehend? Simple question, simple answer. That’s it. Your a smart guy, I get it. But your arrogance can wear a person out.Final point. The closest track is 3 hours away, and it’s winter! Kinda hard to get revelant information there as well. Who is going to drive six hours round trip to buy fuel? I’m not, I’ll gather as much revelant info as I can from knowledgeable answers on forums, do more research, and then order a couple cases of fuel and have them shipped to me. The End. Did you enjoy my book? |
I just started using Morgan fuel 20% 12 % oil with great results.I did use Byrons and Bones and loved both .I tried VP but not for me .This is just my opinion .Bought my Morgan fuel from a main ,might be able to purchase closer to you .My 2 cents

+1 for VP fuel through Bones. Good prices and great service.

After my bones brew stash was depleted I switched to VP purchased through bones. So far seems to be a quality fuel from a well known company. Plus the metal cans are a nice touch. Reminds of racing motorcycles and popping the top on a can of MR12 and taking a sniff of the goodness!

If you are close to Enterprise, Ala you can get Sidewinder direct from the factory.

Tnr is the new go to fuel

I use Sidewinder 30%

Torco
My buddy and I just got back into nitros. We were trying to figure out how to get some fuel.
We decided torco from amazon is our best option $63 for gallon of 30%. Works great. Seems like torco is the big daddy of nitro. I added 2 oz of old school castor for break in. (4 tbl spoons) https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...6ee6ddcd17.jpg |
sidewinder is still there and VP
