Default SATURDAY ELECTRIC at Four Seasons

Is anyone at all interested in running now and then on a Saturday at 4 Seasons in Olympia? I know I had talked with Ray a couple of weeks ago and he actually was the one that brought it up. I was concerned whether there would be enough racers to make the trip worthwhile becausee, after all, no one wants to drive that far only to have them not hold a race due to no turnout. Ray wasn't concerned because he brings his own "entourage". Anyway, I called 4 Seasons today on another matter and asked Dave whether they were running electric on Saturdays. He said they had enough of a turnout on Saturdays where they have been racing. I am interested if anyone else is, but we need to coordinate so it is not a wasted trip for anyone. This would be Electric only. The start racing at 2 pm. Anyone up for it? It's a great facility and lots of fun. Nice people too, and if we all go, it would be awesome, peoplewise.

We are thinking about it, but we have driven up to Oly before on a Saturday to race and not enough people showed up to race. Long trip for nothing, and gas is more expensive now than back then. Ray, are you bringing any of your neighbor kids?

Don and Beth, you going? Don, Mich, Sam? Aaron? Ray, I figure if you and Sammy, Don and Beth, Don, Sam and Mich and Don and I show up, we should be able to make two SMALL classes. But we won't go on just a "chance". I sat down and estimated my taxes and it looks like we will have to pay a good chunk to state, on top of the "school tax" (remind you of Monopoly?). So I am not real game about spending $20 plus on gas unless we are reasonably sure there will be enough of us.

However, I will charge some batteries. Haven't dumped them since Round 1, and haven't even cleaned my motors since that race. Can you believe that, Ray?

Diane,

Beth and I are seriously considering going. We will be more positive if we know others will be there. Our trucks are still set up for their track.
