mini recap
I'm sure Thomas will do a sweet writeup about the race, but I just wanted to throw a quick and dirty recap out there for those that are curious...
solid turnout with 82 entries, almost all in stock buggy, mod buggy, and 4wd buggy. Evans was there, Maifield wasn't.
Track surface was AWESOME. Treads were working all weekend with traction that was great but not over the top. Tire wear was minimal, I ran the same tires all weekend and they looked OK at the end. Track was very smooth and consistent.
Layout was kind of easy but good for racing. Exception being the whoops/rhythm section on the left that gave everyone fits, especially in 4wd buggy. That section added some unpredictability, which I thought was cool. Others were not as excited about it.
Racing wise biggest story was Tanner Day. Kid was legitimately on pace with Evans, and only slightly less consistent. Qualified 1 second behind Evans and stuck with him in the mains. Was this the weekend that he took it to the next level?
Computer worked fine, no major problems or delays. Mikey Brown and Tanner did a nice job on the mic.
Some drama regarding racers cutting the track and gaining an advantage. Otherwise everyone got along well. Lots of good battles in the mains.
Results that I can remember, since no results were posted

Now that's what I'm talking about! The D.A.D. (down and dirty) Rasheed style!
