My schedule is looking promising, suddenly, so maybe I'll be able to come up to practice at NORA this weekend. Maybe I'll stay for races if I manage to find food and not be starving by 3pm like last time.
To answer your question form the other thread, Steve, I really liked it up there! Plenty of time to figure some things out and I've seen the results of that at our track. I'm almost fast

That double martini tape seam combo is brutal.
Had fun duking it out with Jeff and Jake in stock. The opportunity for a win was there when Jake biffed it letting me into the lead, but I did my best Peyton Manning impression to give up spots and eventually finish third.
I also got the scale spec car dialed in enough to have a fun battle with Chris in Scale Spec. From third on the grid, Doug tapped a pipe early to let me by into second, with the tires still fresh enough chase down Chris. He tapped several laps later letting me sneak past, but then latched onto my bumper and wouldn't let go, until got collected by someone's whoops on the straight. I waited up to continue the battle, but his car was tweaked and off pace.

had a good time today despite the f1 having issues. thanks a bunch to mike for the setup tips. car handles much better now. but, the traction came way up during the mains. had a fun time trying not to traction roll. we will see how she handles at the community center come sat. got tons of goodies in the mail today. no more house transponders got one for each rig. now to assemble the parts on the f1 and try to figure it out before sat.

So the last race day of the season is Saturday. The track will be altered a bit for the endure race the next day. I will be there by 9 and should have the track set up by 10 so feel free to show up a bit early and give some input on the layout.
Also, THE OVAL SEASON IS OVER SO BRING A TABLE AND CHAIRS! The oval club racing is over and the members have taken their tables and chairs out of there. This is the last weekend up there and we will be cleaning out the building after the endure so be sure to bring a table and chairs so you have somewhere to sit. Also remember a pit light as those undoubtedly have been taken home as well.
Hope to see a bunch of people up to race for the last race of the season! I'll be shaking down my scale spec car for the endure.
