Now, I must say I don't know this for a fact, but I sure hope you are wrong on that statement.
5 years ago when I started racing, I never envisioned so much politicking involved in racing toy cars.
Is it spring yet? How much longer till we can hit tires to dirt and get on with what actually is important? (racing those toy cars)

fact 1- is that 2 of the 5 dates match the ones posted, on the first page of the 2010 nct dates, thread
fact 2- the nct dates are not posted for 2011
fact 3- you cannot make all the people happy - all the the time

GUYS,
I realize there is some sort of conflict between a few power players and what each wants for the 2011 race season. But this two seperate series' is gunna completely kill turnouts for both! It is hard enough for anyone to comment to 5 or 6 races as is. Now we will have 12 to choose from, and possibly on the same weekends. Something has to come together. I hope you guys can work something out.

After each round last year, a fireside chat was had and issues discussed.
These discussions led to realizing we have the ability to make some changes for the betterment of what we got going..... so lets give it a try.
Noticing the challange of keeping the tracks around was paramount.
Acknowledging that we need entries to climb seemed to be the solution.
A) Making the venues worth traveling to (as to attract from further regions)
B) Lowering the cost (so more can afford to attend)
C) Providing a fun & competitive atmosphere (to accommodate new & experienced drivers alike)
D) Making sure didn't follow the misfortunes of the past.
The 3 venues in this series have all committed to putting together facilities that are worthy of an eight + hour drive to play on. They have committed to, as clubs & individuals, to give monetarily more than they have to make their tracks this way, in hopes of racer support.
With the # of entries we have, it is possible to have a "series" with no series director. In the past, the ProSeries made us have one. That person was compensated and the cost to do so were included in race entry fees. The 3 venues on the series are privately owned, or run by Non-Profit clubs. The ability of these venues to solicit tax deductible contributions allow the track to survive @ lower than commercial rate, thus they are able to "need" less to stay running. The venues on the series are worthy of product sponsors, who's product (given out @ every race) helps lessen the cost of running our little cars.
