Double gear diffs seems to be working very well.

Gearing wise I was around 3.8 with a D3. I might gear up a tooth or two for Sat (64p).

My setup is similar to Wes, low roll center on the hinge pins. Seems like this is the new trend. I'm hearing more and more setups with low hinge pin roll centers, even on high bite carpet. Also followed Kody's suggestion for raised diffs front and back.

500k in the front, it's pretty much like a spool but with a little give. 2k in the rear diff.

Setup

A quick reminder for those who can make it. I will be at the hangar at 5pm to build the track. All hands are welcome. And to clarify, there will be no practice tonight. We'll take our time so it's as bristol as possible for tomorrow. All the same, it shouldn't take more than a couple hours at the absolute most. It's early to bed for everyone.

The hangar will open at 7am tomorrow, and the track will open for practice at 8am sharp.

Local racers only: Please throw a table in with your kit. You may not need it, but there will be a flea market going on tomorrow in the shop.

All racers: Please set up two racers per table in the morning.

Traveling racers: We have a tire truer for everyone's use. It has a universal arbor for 1/12th and WGT, a diamond board, and calipers.

All right! It's going to be fun!

Sorry I was unable to race this Great race but I had many things to do today.

No you actually misunderstood me. I said it looked like I was drunk LMAO. I don't plan to make a career in video photography :P
