so if you get 1st in to mains then you just sit out the third because its a win?

With the triple A mains, if someone wins the first 2 mains, he locks up the overall win and doesn't have to run the third main.

1/8 ran, 10 entries... I got 5th grrrrrrr!
Note to self, dont mess with speedo settings before a race! I was all kinds of crazy in the main! Also, the stupid little bumper on the front servs a great perpose! Without it, you cant land nose at all!!! Tookme a few minutes to figure it out.

Track was so fun I will need to go back and run it again before the track changes. Racing SC on Sunday was GREAT! I got back to Portland in time for dinner and put my kids in bed. Thumbs up to Brian and the 4 Season crew.
Not sure that I like this new points system yet. I took 2nd today and ended up third in points.

The way the points work, you can beat someone in the main and still only tie them in points
Tq is worth more than a winning...

Had a great time this weekend!
Definitely want to give a lot of credit to all of the people who designed and built the track. It was a great test of driving skill and I had a lot of fun running on it. Smoothest offroad straight I have ever driven on. The battles were tight all day long in SS buggy and truck.
Brian did a great job keeping the program moving. It sure was nice being home in Portland by 12:30, and that was with things starting a bit late in the morning.
I thought the new rules worked out fine. Didn't seem to be too much trouble with the speedo rules. I did find it funny that Shook posted the big pep talk before the race about how it is OK to race with a slower car and that he ran a 17.5 in super stock before. Then he comes out with the only super stock buggy that could clear the triple closer to the drivers stand!
Changing SS to 13.5 definitely reduced the number of people running both SS and mod buggy. Last year it seemed like half of mod was also running SS. This year I think Shook was the only one doing both. Just an observation, not really sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
Only minor thing I would change was the order of races. Why were stock buggy and truck back to back, as well as super stock buggy/truck and mod buggy/truck . There were a LOT of people with back to back races (and even a couple like me with back to back to back races). It would be nice to change the order so that this happened less often.
Overall a great weekend. I probably won't be at bellingham but I should be at the rest of them. Dont think I will keep trying to do 3 classes, though, that was a bit of a struggle...

anyone else have the "paragon hangover" today like me?? dont know if its just the first indoor race of the season after being outdoors all summer or what but i feel like crap today.
great job Brian and the 4 seasons crew. the new cement in the garage was awesome and it was a great pit spot. the WiFi signal out there wasnt strong enough for my laptop though, but Live RC wasnt running till sunday anyway so no biggie.
Track was awesome, nothing better than hearing tires chirping thru the corners. the jumps were great with mulible lines, it was cool to see how everyone did them different.
i agree we could tweek the lineup a little bit, maybe run all the buggys together, then the trucks. for those running just stock, SS, or Mod you were running back to back or only had one race to get ready after you cornered. but it still worked well and it was only a 14 hour day. 2 thumbs up......
and wouldnt you know the first time i get a couple top 3's at a ECT, Brian quits the top 3 award thing. 2 thumbs down........ha ha
see everyone at Bellingham...........

Sorry, but there is no way any wireless signal will make it out to the garage pits. That metal siding on the race track building is a 2.4ghz wireless signal's worst enemy. Unless Gary wants to trench wire out to the garage, there will be no wireless out there for the foreseeable future. Sorry guys.
