Post No News, Not good news yet.

No news yet on Coke or PEPSI...I'll let you know which one finally comes through....Hopefully Coke!!

Also those planning to make the 2-day race need to get registered for the event on or before the July 3rd race. Those that have pre-paid are already registered and do not need to do anything. For those that have not, please send me an email to let me know if you plan to race and we will take care of payment for the race on the July 3rd race. Members are $30.00 and non-members are $40.00 for unlimited entries, a barbeque and prizes from all of our sponsors. So far our Sponsors are; HPI Racing, Team Associated, Team Br00d Racing, Broadway Hobbies, Everett Scale Raceway & High Point Flooring.

Talking Don't worry, I was just keeding!!

No, I am sorry I couldn't let that one get away! No we won't put you on the stand for 60 minutes. What we will do is have you run 60 minutes over the course of the whole weekend (No Pun Intended).

So, here is our newly finalized list of sponsors for 3rd annual ESLROC Silver Cup Series HPI - Coca-Cola 600 Weekend Tournament;

Lowe's Home Improvement
Coca-Cola Bottling Group
HPI Racing
Team Br00d Racing
Broadway Hobbies
Everett Scale Raceway
High Point Flooring
Awards of Praise

The Weekend Tournament formerly known as The HPI - PEPSI 400 is now, The HPI - Coca-Cola 600 and is full of even more prizes and giveaways than ever before, not to mention 2 days of barbeque instead of one!! Please remember to pre-register on or before the July 3rd race date.

Talking 600 Laps.....

The Gas powered divisions will run a total of 60 minutes worth of racing over the whole tournament, hence the "600".

Post HPI-Coca-Cola 600 Guest

We will be having a special guest for our Weekend Tournament. Alex Boyer is the HPI webmaster and will be here to let us in on what is going on with HPI and doing a full race report for the event. He may have a Super Electric to race with us. He has done some fabulous work on the HPI Racing website, go check it out at http://www.hpiracing.com/index2.htm

Does that mean 4 rounds of qualifying at 5 minutes a piece totaling 20 minutes and a 40 minute main. Did I break it down correctly?

There is a total of 5 qualifiers + the No Bull race (10 laps)...I'll say the main is about 60min-5x5min-10x15sec...about 30min Main.

Ben,

I see that you have the concourse on the 2nd day. Might want to consider putting it on the 1st day prior to the qualifiers. Otherwise the new bodies will be all banged up, or we have to paint one specially for the concourse.
