Wink WOW

shortygy- There is plenty of power, just bring extension cords. there will be at least 3 hobbyshops represented that will have some parts each, come prepared.

mattyk6- thank you.

EVERYONE.......... Most Classes are FULL!!! THere are very few openings. if you have not registered, call first. you may not be able to race.
i did the math, and it will be a late night saturday night, and into the evening on sunday..... we need to cut it off... there are just enough opening to completely pack the heats we already have, no more. I regret doing this, i hate to turn anyone away, but this has to be done. We have G mains in 1/8th scale, and Gas Truck already. WOW.... this is going to be a blast.
if you have any questions just email, or call me.

Default E-mail Eavesdrop: Reply to Turbo Johnny.

TJ> How was the warm up race? looked like a lot of people..

Great weather. Bunches of spectators, Big “The Mouth” Brian at the microphone. Your typical Wenatchee group of racers; Heavy on the Razz and inside jokes. Fun to be flingin' dirt again.

I had trouble clearing the Quad all day. Clutch, Traction, Engine tune, Only 20% nitro: I don't know what. Maybe it's time to put the notorious Turbo Tune on that WS7II,,,,I broke the front end on my X5 finally! I hope the parts come in in-time. I'd hate to use plastic arm supports for the front hinge pins.

TJ> Also, what tires for buggy. Crimfighter work? what did you use...

I was the only buggy running 'um; the same tires as at Wayne's; TRC Cosmic soft (See attachment). I noticed a lot of Mugshots on the other Buggies. The only racer I found bad mouthing Crimefighters had way too stiff foam. Even I (Yet to complete my first full year on dirt) know too hard foam in Crimefighters sucks.

In 4WD Mod I ran Losi Red IFMAR studs. But, Wooden wagon wheels would have worked just as good on the fresh sticky track you get for the first electric race.

My normal Gas Truck set-up was Red Step-pins all around. It may not be fast; But it sure looks good. And there is no shortage of turning ability.

TJ>and,,,nice job TQ"n 4wheel!!

That XXX-4G+ drives itself. All I have to do is climb-up on the driver stand and that lil' buggy does the rest. It easily turns similar lap times as my X5. Whoooa! Smokin’. I had a bit of trouble in the one heat when it “Hung a brush”

See ya Friday Morning,
Warren

Great racing report IBEXtrax...what parts did you break on the front end? I have some extra arms, etc., I might be able to spare something in a pinch.

Those TRC Cosmics look interesting. After what Mike Dana had to say about tires, I sprung for a set of Komodo IIs, so we'll see how that works out.

As far as MT parts, I have lots of extras. If anyone needs ring gears (Kippster or stock) or pinions, see me or Torry.

Looks like 20% chance of rain on Sunday. Don't forget the wet dry vac

shortygy, I think Mod buggy is the only class that you can still get in the show, the rest of the class's are full.
