...had a real good turn out at ARC raceway auburns new outdoor offroad track
10 1\8th scale buggies
10 2w gas
4 moster trucks
24 gas entries all together for a awesome day of racing!! alot of top dogs from around the area in all the classes..
next race scheduled is:
SEPT. 20TH
RACING AT 1:00PM
TRACK OPENS AT 10:00AM SHARP FOR PRACTICE

AND, it would have been just THAT much better if I actually won at ARC. But, thanks for the props!!

Wade Lamar won 1/8th scale and Mike Phillips won Gas Truck if I remember correctly.

Now, Schmidts on Sunday was a different story

there aint a shmidts thread so just wanted to thank ya for coming over this weekend
also are group of friends that went up to shmidts practicaly dominated all the classes..in all the mains
you all got harware to take home i think!!
have to thank all of them too for going up to marysville to race!!
I had a good time but wish that missle out of the sky wouldnt have landed on my rear 6mm tyrod and broke it...wow!!

Thanks to ARC (Jeremy and Rachel) for hosting a great race on Saturday. It took me a while to get used to the track, but its really fun! I love the monster jump going uphill!! Next time, I'll stick with bow-ties for better traction. Bravo to ARC for having parts on site and even a snack stand! I'll definitely be back as soon as I can to see if I can get a more consistent lap times. This is definitely a killer track for 1/8th scales!

Congrats to all the winners on Saturday. FYI, Torry took 1st in MT class, and I took 2nd.

I'll see some of you this weekend in Richland!!

P.S. I have some great pictures of the track, trucks, jumps, etc. Unfortunately, I'm rebuilding my truck from the ground up for the big race this weekend, so I won't have time to post pics until next week.
