Well strange dazs at FW. wonderful weather. Don't know how Dave keeps calling in the good favors, but he must know some one. Think the entry list topped at 48 and there were several regulars missing. I don't count as a regular if I hit every 3rd week, but there were several elsewhere. I had a bitter sweet day. I ran 12th & mod touring. The 12th was remarkably good while the touring car was a turd minus the first round... which strung me along with "hope". That was a wicked trick. Every time I made a change for the better, it was for the much worse. I am thinking there maybe a great deal on a T2 007 soon. We'll see. The 12th scale is an on going research project that did real well today. Dave Erhlich grabbed the radio for R2 and laid it down! He averaged about 16.8 with a fast lap of 16.58 and never really went any slower then 17.2. So Sean had an outstanding day in mod touring and was clearly the car to beat, but his fast lap was about 16.7. So this little single 3.7 volt lipo 12th scale car with a old Novak 10.5 could crank out faster laps then mod touring! I did not experience the post race fade like a couple of weeks ago or even last Wed at the Hanger. I would venture to suggest that we need to amend our gentlemen's agreement and run 13.5 either: 4 cell 865g or 1C 730g and see what happens.
