Nitro nationals - Congrats Boys
Just like to say congratulations to everyone who entered the Nitro nationals and to the success of everyone on the east coast. The competition was obviously the best of the best and the car control and precision of these drivers was much more than expected. Seeing the Nitro Nationals in person is so much more than watching it on youtube.
Contratulations go out to Anthony Mazzarra, Andrew Parente, Mike Garramone, Steve Plakis, Chris Maghakian, Mike Gay and those of you I'm forgetting at the moment. You guys made an incredible effort and really helped many of us novices understand what it takes to elevate yourself to be a sponsored driver, the dedication, the responsibility and the sheer concentration and competitive driving are simply amazing.
Everyone who did not go to the natioanls should watch the Buggy final between Dakota Phend and Ty Tessman. We were 5 feet from the finish line watching as Ty Tessman took the win in the last 2 feet of the race. The entire 60 minute race was intense from start to finish.
Many people are looking forward to race night this Friday now that the Nitro Nationals are behind us. Mike Gay said he will be a regular at IRH preparing for the electric nationals in August. So all you Mod. guys come on down and give Mike Gay and others the competition they need as they prepare for a very important event in thier career as August approaches.

BBQ BASH on sunday. We are having a BIG BBQ bash this sunday to celebrate the 4th of July at IRH. We will have some great food, a 50/50 and we will be raffling (3) IRH gift certificates. Open at 10, racing at 12.

Racing tomorrow, Tuesday looks to be a good crowd as well, so those of you now on vacation make the trip down tomorrow night. Racing begins at 7.
