Oz said she was going to be open for practice only.
What a GREAT Day of racing good turnout good racibg thru ALL classes. And the Mains even held more Great racing.
Thanks to everyone who raced i cant think of a day that went any smoother then today 160 enteries 20 heat no fights.
I think Saturday races should be the norm in the future

You beat me to the punch brother. Was a pleasure yesterday. Nice to hang with good peeps.
PS, when you talk to YOUR Sal tell him that this one said to say "thanks again" for the help yesterday and the battery backup too.
Mine was found at the track today....with the power strip. Not too far from where we we sitting on the table behind us. Amazingly, NO ONE saw that yesterday!
I have to give big props to Don for convincing me to stay.....I had a foot out the door yesterday.
Bigger props to Don for handing me a brand new battery on my way out.
I will be returning it Friday night with heartfelt gratitude for him being willing to take it on the chin trying to do the right thing.

Awesome day yesterday! I had a really good time hangin with some some of the best people I know. Tech went pretty well. In round 1, the first 2 heats of 17.5 SCT had 5 trucks that weren't in "Blinky" mode. I got answers like, "The Orion doesn't have a blinky mode." or "I don't know how to get it in blinky mode." I'll give you guys the benifit of the doubt this one time. There was one truck that I made a mistake on, but I got the proper info on his speedo and that was a dead issue after that. I think from now on, a random spot tech will happen on a club race here and there with out notice! I didn't have the tools to do some of the tech I wanted to do, but I will have them for the next trophy race. Just a little hint, 8.44! As you saw yesterday, NONE of the fastest guys in SCT were outside the legal parameters! Another thing I want to say is, all this hype over the Trinity D3.5 17.5 motor is just that, HYPE. I'm sure in the on-road scene that motor MIGHT have some advantages, but as far as what we need from our motors, it's not all that better than any other motor out there. I ran mine for the first time yesterday over my D3 and I was a bit slower. I kicked the idea around in my head all day yesterday to change it but never did. I know Franzy ran his original motor in round 1 and switched to his 3.5 for round 2 and gained a few tenths per lap. It's easy to say it was the motor but more probable to say he had a cleaner run and the track conditions might've been a bit better, but who knows. All I know is I found NO real overwelming advantage. With that said, the track was awesome as usual thanks to Anthony and Steve and everyone else who got up off there asses and picked up a broom! Hell even I swept! I'm paying for it now, but at that moment in time, nobody was out there. Nectar, what can I say dude?! Anthony might've took the win in Mod Buggy, but you got the award for one of the best finishes I've ever seen since Ricky Craven and Kurt Busch at Darlington! Yo Ant, that 4X4 SCTE is unbelievable!! See all you guys Friday!
