Larry,
I feel your pain bro, I was there last Thursday, and now my truck looks like its been dragged on its lid through asphalt....Honestly, how much quality practice can you get in a situation like that....

On the other hand, they are potential converts, they might actually want to race and end up buying a true racer, like a Short Course Truck.....
Come up to Nationals with me in March Fred............I'll show how "true" mini cars can be.

People do run Monster Truck Brother..........there are other classes out there other then 4wd buggy and mod truck. That's just offroad. There are 6 different manufacturers for 1/18 pan cars.....all carbon fiber, titanium and alloy.
Exotek is a company who's sole purpose is CF goodies and race-worthy conversions for mini related stuff.

I'd probably share the same sentiment about minis as most of ya'll do, but Madness was open for a while before RCHR was ever a glint in Mark or John's eyes. I got into Minis because there was nothing else going on indoors. (I was pumped when Lester opened that shop under the Karate studio, but we all know how that went)

I'll see ya'll tomorrow. Probably no buggy for me (my new weapon isn't primed up yet), but I do have a nice shiny new SC toy to play with.

Do ya smell what the WOP is cookin Schenk? Do ya?

The mini's look great on the indoor carpet tracks, they just plain suck on dirt, but some people enjoy racing things that suck on dirt.
