Supposedly 19T is the class to run down there. Mod is fast but I want the comp of limited.

The first time I ran at LIR, I came in second in the 19T C-main, the second time I ran there I came in almost last in the 19T B-main, Kyle was running that same class and he came in 2nd in the 19T A-main.... It is a tough class, like I've said before, there's no shame in running in the 19T class at LIR....

I got my but handed to me by the top two guys at the Grand Prix in 2wd limited....

I think I ruined mine as well. I asked in the LIR thread earlier and they said plenty of people are running 10.5 unboosted. How big is their track? If the straight is as long as RCE, then I'd want a 10.5.

Overgeared, my 13.5 was maxed out about 1/3 of the way down the straight.

I don't run boost in my 10.5 either, and its plenty fast, a boosted 13.5 should suffice my friend....

Go to youtube, type in Long Island Raceway, then sort by date, someone posted a video recently with their layout.

Forget limited and run modified.. you can run a 10.5 easily in the mod class. Some of there 10.5 guys are running faster than mod is FYI.

I've never seen one at the track. It'd end up in unlimited (4x4/mod/etc.) short course.

If I get my parts in time I'll run mod. I don't feel like soldering in a new motor. Soldering and building turnbuckles are the worst parts of the RC hobby.

Uhh, ok Mr. Garcia has spoken, I will forget limited and run mod....

Honestly,
I don't have the skill set to avoid being a moving obstacle for the mod guys, atleast in limited I'm somewhat ok, so, I'll run limited buggy....

By the by,
How did your Mod 2wd day go for you at the Grand Prix??
