Yup they stayed together for the 15 minutes I ran it so Mark's idea of the locktite and your's of spinning them around did the trick.

John and Tom gave me an idea of wrapping the shock threads with Teflon tape to hold the stripped cap on and it worked. I'll have to get a new cap to fix the old one but this will work until then.

And do you happen to know the cap part number so John or Mark can order me another one ?

The track is TOTALLY different from last week due to the rain. I don't know what the weather is like right now, but it's much more compacted right now.
