Same goes if you have a saddle pack already or don't mind the additional cost of buying one.

Personaly I've owned most of the popular 4wds over the years. Had a BJ4 stick pack car, B44, ZX5-SP, ZX5-FS, XX4, XXX4 and currently a Schumacher CAT. They all have their own characteristics and are all more than capable buggies. Your best bet is to try some of the other racers cars when your at the track and see which one you like the most. 4wd is well represented at RCHR so you shouldn't have any trouble getting the opportunity to drive most of the cars on my list.

Here is just a small list of who owns what currently:

B44: Mark Westerfield, Will Wambolt, Freddy V., many others as well
ZX5-FS: Kyle, Steve Semeraro
ZX5-SP: Deiselpower, John Brusitus (spelling?), Otto
BJ4: Jay Kenedy, Rich Febus (Both own worlds cars that use saddle packs)
CAT: Raul Garcia, Joe Glorioso, Ron DePoto, Steve Mazier, Dan Gomez

Almost all of these racers will let you try their cars if you ask.
anyone can try any of my cars any time just ask i will help anyone

Would you guys be intrested in a small series race between RCHR, Pinshop Hobbies, and Wolcott hobbies (maybe rc madness as well) in the summer?

I'm mostly thinking Short course trucks here.

Maybe get a small series going with LIR and RCE as well.

I will probably have a special Halloween race in 2010 as well!
Please for the love of God leave Wolcott out of any series. Extremely unreliable folks running that place. Ask anyone that was part of the last attempt at a series with Wolcott. A Pinshop, RCHR local series would be cool, as well as the RCE, LIR series. Could be like a nascar style circuit.

Really didn't want to go there but since you brought it up.

I did that one. Yes, it ended bad, well that is if it actually ended(pinshop just kept changing dates). All the wolcott races were accounted for but pinshop only did one of the 3 they were suppose to. Actually took the day off of work to go to the final at the end of August only to find out the day before from James that pinshop was changing the date(would of been nice if they at least posted something). Well that date never happened either.

So who's fault is it that Pinshop didn't do there races? I know they canceled one due to the NESS race. That never made sense to me cause the nitro racers were not the ones racing SC on a friday night.

Not really happy about it cause I paid extra for every race to be part of the series, to be part of the final with the cookout and the raffles.

So far no 1st place trophy(won 3 out of the 4 races), no cookout, no raffles.

Well back to RCHR, who is racing wednesday night? Hoping to make it down a little early cause I am off of work.

That's the problem with mulit track series. If one track drops the ball the entire series falls apart. From the sound of it Wolcott was not the problem. Looks to me that Pinshop had the issue here.

A lot of planning needs to go into a series to make it succesful. All the track owners need to be on the same page and a solid set of rules need to be put in place so every racer knows exactly what will be allowed. Weather plays a big roll in the northeast as well. Since some of the tracks will be outdoors plans need to be made to prevent any major disruptions in the flow of the series if the weather becomes and issue. It can work, but it must be planed correctly.

Maybe that is where it would be good to have a ROAR director stepping in. (just messing with you Ron)

Now if a series is done and I can make it I will try again(as long as I think they might have their act together). However if a series is done and at the end what was told up front doesn't happen (no trophies, raffles or what not, if that is what we are going to do) I probably will be done with that track too. Not trying to bitch but I really don't like giving out my $$$$ for something and not getting what I paid for.

Now if a series is done and its only for bragging rights that is fine with me too, as long as I know what I am getting up front.

Rant over now back to RCHR racing again.

I went to Pinshop once. A large, slovenly fella asked me in a rather gruff manner........"whaddaya want?"
I calmly said, "nothing kind and helpful sir" and promptly left, never to return.

Haven't been to Lester's in 4-5 years, but I did think he was closed to RC for most of the summer.......per his own words on his website.

Madness is finally getting their shop built this week and the two new carpet tracks to follow for anyone looking for ozite action.

Hey guys..

I've been playing with a new Helicopter that I got from JCPenney and now I'm hooked, thinking of buying a Coaxial Heli that I saw at Horizon...

Might come up on Saturday for some racing, still up in the air, Need to Find my racing Motivation again, kinda lost it for a while....

Hope you guys had a Happy Thanksgiving...
