Ehh, I only have one truck Mikeyy ole boy ole pal, and honestly, I would only run a Mod motor in my truck.

As for 2wd and 4wd, I would be in for running 10.5, I've been running the 10.5 in mine since it was mentioned on here a couple of months ago, I guess some people just don't follow through.

I might go back to running Mod Truck/Mod 4wd after the VONATs and sell my 2wd, so I can buy an RC10B4 and run that in Mod Buggy...

By the By, Ron,

Thanks for suggesting I run a bigger pinion on the ZX5, the difference was like night and day, I think the 10.5 has a permanent home for now, I would only go to a hotter motor in a bigger track (Vineland)...

Are we going to RC excitement any time soon, for their indoor off road racing??

It's only 2hrs away....

I drove to RCE once, only to turn right back around, racing was finished before I got there. i would like to go back for the winter season, more than once.

I'm in for RC Excitement this winter. Ran there on the Carpet Track a few times, nice place!

VoNats question about the "Classic" class....Are re-releases allowed? Like a re released Frog, Hornet, Blackfoot, etc? Looking for a 2nd class for Nicky to run and I think this would be a fun one. I'm too lazy to try to get the "Picked from the neighbors trash" Falcon running, and I'm not willing to let him run my backup YZ10 in 4wd.

Seeing that I'm already running a 17.5 in my RT5 with the mod trucks and keeping up without a problem, I think it would just dilute the class. Remember the old 10.5 4wd class? Too hard to try to enforce a spec class. Mark and I talked about spec racing a few times and it only works if the racers police the class themselves. Let's just get a bunch of people to the track every week to run whatever they have. Personally, after the way my vintage XX ran in the open mod class (which I think was an awesome way to run by the way ) I may just keep running that year round!

If anyone is looking for a car for the Vintage Nats, I have 2 2wd Buggies that I'm looking to sell.
I have a Graphite Stealth RC10 Team Car that is in ridiculously nice shape, and an original Tamiya Dynastorm which was Tamiya's 2wd "Pro Level" offering in the early 90's. Hit me up if you're interested and we can negotiate a price/trade possibility!
Would have had a gold tub Stealth car as well but Jay needed a sponsor for the VoNats !

Joe, I ordered a Hornet re-release for Alyssa from RCHR. She is going to build it herself.

Hey guys,

Summers are typically slower than winters at RCE for 1/10th since people are running 1/8th scale and doing other outdoor things. Todd has done a lot of improvements over the past 8 months including new outdoor dirt, new indoor carpet, new shop floor and signage. This winter should be great indoors. We'd love to have a bunch of you guys up for a trophy race or 2 or 3 Here's a pic of the current indoor track layout complete with bridge.

See ya at the vintage nats

Freddy,

I'm down with making a trip to RCE this winter.

No problem on the gearing suggestion. Your car looked good in the main. It would have been a good race between us if I didn't get taken out off the start and had to paly catch-up for the rest of the race. I love Vineland, but hate the way they do a LeMans style start for the mains.....

Jay, do you need the wing mount tubes or the wire? If you need tubes they are discontinued, but you can cut nose brace tubes to size and they work fine. The wire and buttons are still avaliable from AE and BUD's.
