Once I get all set with the rb5, I think I will go to a 10.5 too. I have one in my truck and like it. First I just have to get use to buggy a little more before I add anymore power.

What did you end up using for a rear tire? I know you said you wanted more traction and were thinking of trying square fuzzies. Anyways you going Wednesday?

You guys had some sweet racing on Saturday! Nine newbies in the sportsman class, which is absolutely great and 8 guys in the 2wd buggy class and 4 in truck. That 2wd race was some really clean, fast racing guys. Thomas Bolger setting a blistering 16.9 fast lap (I think Mazzara's fast lap in 4wd for our opening day race was a 16.9) and Kyle Rhodes with an equally impressive 17.0 fast lap and taking the win in a very competitive race. Good job guys!

Hey Tom,

I wound up using Groovies in the front and M3 Holeshots in the rear with trinity bomb ones, flamed and death gripped.

I was using my double dees in the qualifiers, but I think they were getting a little too worn to use. I think they'll work fine when they're flamed and sauced too, though; I just didn't try that last saturday.

I should be down on wednesday, I just need to load everything in my car before I leave for work in the morning.

thanks Pete. I will see you wednesday then. I want to play with some tire changes so I wanted to see what was working for you. The bk-bars I have on there seemed to work well but dont know if something is better till I try it. Only thing is I have to change the rear axles to try any other rear tire.

Mark you have any associated shock retainers? Mine must of ended up in your track when I broke the front shock shaft. If not then it will just be 2wd for me this week.
