yep. this WNW. depending on how quickly I can get my other cars ready, i'll just be bringing my mod 2wd buggy. Will be good to get the feet wet again. will get their closer to race time, as usual.
I can't stay late though like previous years. gotta be out by 10.

New track Layout is awesome had a great time with good people last night Will and crew killed it had to be one of the best track conditions for an opening night have ever driven (or for you Shemp droven lol) on thank you for the hard work for everyone involved true club effort!!!!
That's a lot of talking, Phu. Show up to an actual race and I might start to believe you...
what tires working in 2wd?. thought i heard w the new layout you were going to try to be a lil less abrasive.. thanks
Most people are happy with Electrons or Dirt Webs.

Right when the layout was done about a week ago electrons were working just fine. Im sure the grip came up since last week and electrons or dirt webs will be dialed

So...let's discuss a topic now near and dear to my heart...
Short Course Trucks
I know for a while that the class has mostly been 17.5 and I heard that there might have been some discussion about going Super Stock (13.5) or Super Duper Stock (10.5) or even full on Mod.
Having just picked up a new kit I'm interested in seeing what the collective masses think...
Personally I would say either stick 17.5 or go Super/Super Duper Stock to keep a level playing field when it comes to motors (for the most part).

Hey guys. I used to race at rchr periodically several years back but have been out of it for the last few years. Looking at the website, it seems like 17.5 short course and buggy are the most populated classes. Is that accurate?
In reference to the previous post, is the 17.5 SC class going to be sticking around?
If that's the case, I'll probably look at racing in the 17.5 SC class. I still have my short course truck but I'd need to pick up a 17.5 motor to be legal. Are there any other rules other than the motor restriction? Tires, batts, etc.?
Last question. Seems like people are mostly using electrons and dirt web tires? Is this the case for short course too?
Thanks guys. Look forward to making it up there in the next month or so.

Stock sc is blinky esc no timing, turbo, or boost. With any 17.5 you can put timing in the motor and yes Dirtwebs,Electrons, AKA Chainlinks, will work at the track.
Hey guys, just want to say thank you to Will and the RCHR crew for a fun race day on Saturday. Looking forward to the next round. See you guys in a few weeks!
