Radio Control Hobbies & Raceway - Waterbury, CT.
I plan on reverting to ST from SCT. Should have my T4.1 ready for next weekend...
Guys, good luck to all of our guys who are racing vintage this weekend!
For everyone not racing vintage, we will be running SNL tonight rain or shine...so come on down!

Guys, 2014 Summer Slam Trophy Race in 2 weeks! We'll be racing and grilling! Hope to see everyone there!!
Gotta figure out what to run for the Summer Slam.
My B44 needs work and is really better indoors than outdoors. The front bottoms out too much on the first cross-over landing and I lose a bunch of time there. I'm already at max droop and so there's really not much else I can do about it. Maybe go back to the stock front bumper to get more uptravel before bottoming out (the RPM bumper is thick at the bottom).
I'll be getting my ST ready this week or next, so my guess is I'll run ST and 17.5 Buggy. Maybe 4x4 Redneck...maybe...

Smaller hole pistons
Less holes
Heavier shock oil
Heavier shock spring
Or buy a Durango......
Oh I've considered that, but the problem is more fundamental. There simply is not much room for uptravel on vertical landings with this chassis. The SC10 4X4 has the same exact problem - no matter how stiff I made the oil/pistons/springs, it still bottomed out on big landings. What you really need for something like this is more droop, and AE 4wd chassis simply don't have it.
Guys, just an FYI...the shop and track will be opening at 12 Noon tomorrow.

70% chance of rain tomorrow. Bring your indoor tires, just in case.
