Lets see it with the shell off. At least it looks like they didn't just gut their 4wd front end and put a set of narrow tires on it. You know, like their last 2wd buggy. :P

The KF hasn't exactly been "plug & play" for me and that was at least engineered to be a 2wd buggy. I can't imagine what compromises X-Ray may have made on this beastie.

That's not to say I won't buy one to check it out. I always accept "it won't work" as a challenge.

It's my understanding it's a completely new front end and chassis which moves the motor to the rear, mostly a mid motor layout. Their current 2wd was never meant to run on anything except high bite astro, carpet and clay. I suspect this new buggy won't share many parts with the current 2 or 4 wheel drive buggy.

Threw the cab window it almost looks like u can see a body clip for a battery strap on what would be the right side and in the center u can see slipper pads so I think there running motor left shorty right. Like the team c car. The body makes the front look narrower then it is as if u look the thing still had an Xb4 front bumper. Won't know till body off shots

"Ducky"

Tracks open 5pm-10pm tomorrow. Will be shaking down the sc6

Wow, birds truly do have superior eyesight. I blew that photo up like crazy and I see a black mass and two wires. Of course I eat a couple cookies every time I race so probably looking through diabetic eyes. IMO looks like a carpet specific car to me, mid or center mounted motor, don't think you could mount the front shock tower any further back. I thought they were working on a buggy for stateside release, rear motor?

BTW, wasn't everyone just talking about the price of the new Kay car?? Wonder what the msrp of this gem will be.

I'll make sure there is an underqualified marshal at the least accessible part of the track

Doors open at 7 quals start at 11, that is the usual schedule for trophy races

Unless they decided to change up the times for this one, I'm sure Willy will chime in soon.
