Oh no! Oh my god John I'm so sorry! Pops was a classy guy and such a great human being! My condolences and my love to john and the Benedict family. RCHR will never be the same.

Omg. John I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad was great person. Always so nice and friendly to everyone. Going to miss seeing and racing with him.

John, my deepest sympathies on your loss. George will be sorely missed at RCHR! I will forever miss his warm smile & heartfelt handshake every time I saw him at the track. The Short Course races will never be the same without the Tow Truck!! R.I.P. Pops.

I am sorry for your loss John. I will miss our fellow Sailor and great friend dearly. If there is anything I can assist with pls do not hesitate to ask. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Wow, I'm shocked to hear that news. I always remember running stadium truck with George. Sometimes I would show up at the track to run that class and there wasn't enough entries. He would get his truck running just so we could have enough for a class. I wish I had raced there more so I could have more memories of him. But I'm thankful for the little time I had to know him. God bless the RCHR family.

i don't know what to say. george was a great man. i enjoyed his company greatly. i loved talking rc/military memorabilia/life in general with him.

i will miss him alot. john, my prayers are with you and your family.

Pops will be dearly missed. Strange how one day you see somebody, and you don't realize that's the last time you'll see them.
