Finally home.
First, My prayers and best wishes to everyone in Daytona.
Ugh, an epic fail of a day for me bit it goes on.
Congrats to "Rhoders" on the double down, the Falcón for his good day taking hardware in both classes he ran, and to Tom Licata on winning the main I was in.
Thx to Rick Swartout for breakfast, Falcón for the parts, John and the RCHR crew for everything.
Lastly, I'd like to offer a public apology to Niña for My stupidity after My main which startled her...and congrats to her also for winning the Sportsman Main.

On a side note :
Raul, what ( I know we run different buggies, but...) are you gearing the Venom 17.5 at? I'm currently at 35/69, motor timing approx 75%...It's quite cool to the touch and I am getting walked all over on straights. Appreciate any tips/advice

Rob- the kyosho and the associated run the same gearing ratio. Try running 70/32 and full 45* timing on the can. If you have an Orion motor leave it at 0. Lock the slipper and you should be good. You won't be the fastest down the straight but you'll have the punch. I ran that gearing at motorama and even today.

I'll post a selection here too - John is also working on a new site with a racing gallery

Nice work, Kyle. My camera angle was a little off on that shoot. Apologies in advance.
17.5 buggy A-main --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xeiw...ature=youtu.be
That video includes Ducky's calendar shoot for the first minute or so, plus me congratulating Photog for our tandem aerobatics
4wd buggy A-main --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA9SD...ature=youtu.be
That's me getting my ass kicked.
edit: I was going to upload the 4x4 SC A-main, but there was too much bitching on the driver's stand.
