thanks fu. in that article i forgot to mention before you apply double sided tape clean the chassis with motor spray or you wont get a good bond. also i have found heating the chassis and tape a little with a ligther helps the tape stick better..

Great racing today in 17.5 Buggy with Rick, Eric, Trevor, and Eric's surprisingly fast son. Also, props to John and the K family for getting the shop in order and running a smooth program. The 2-minutes-between-races approach worked quite well today.

I tried a different mounting angle for my camera. I found one that works pretty well (it doesn't show the front double too well, since it's just too close to the driver's stand, but otherwise it's not bad). I tried recording the 17.5 Buggy main where I WHOOPED ALL YOUR ASSES but the camera ran out of memory. Here's a clip of some 17.5 SC qualifying (still uploading at present...should be ready soon):

Had a good time today, 17.5 buggy was very close and fast. Wish I could have had a better run in the main but it worked out well for my son who past me like I was standing still.

Better being your "A" game James.

Seriously the 17.5 buggy heats today were fierce to say the least, everyone was very fast and the driving was clean for the most part. In the 3rd heat the 4 top finishers were all on the same 22 lap pace and I think were only separated by 12 seconds.

17.5 buggy is starting to rival the 17.5 SC class as far as the number of entries go.
